Co Armagh - Modern Equestrian Family Home

This delightful new build project was completed autumn 2020, working in conjunction with the client, this was a full interior design project. We designed and installed the kitchen, bathroom, tiling, furniture and lighting, creating a magnificent family home.

The scale of the interior was fabulous with double height ceilings, large apex windows and generous open plan living area. There are not many homes that demand a large square kitchen island, but it was ideal in this interior, and became the focal point. Due to the size of the area it allowed us to introduce 3 different colours and finishes in this Pronorm kitchen, which sits on a foundation of a Florim large format neutral floor tile running throughout the ground floor communal areas.

The large dark island with feature niche, compliments the neutral perimeter units, with the wood adding texture and tone in the tall units.

Tracey Jane designed the overall open plan area introducing warm colours of aubergine and orange in the seating, while using a rich charcoal oak Bontempi dining table and neutral dining chair to balance the colours. Cushions and rugs then add vibrant colours and texture to the scheme.

The bathrooms are sleek and modern with feature tiles being used to highlight design feature in the main bathroom and ensuite. The brief was a practical, cosy, family home which was modern, stylish and comfortable to live in which would stand the test of time, we are delighted to say the client was delighted with the result.
