Luxurious apartment design
This luxurious apartment demanded a contemporary, sleek kitchen which was practical for the needs of a modern family, while complimenting the elegance of the open plan area. The design of the kitchen was paramount, functionality with style was the aim and the Pronorm Y-Line units in a neutral gloss provided a streamline look.
The dark neolith worktop and the wooden breakfast bar both add texture and contrast to the kitchen. The neolith was also used as the backsplash for a flawless finish and is nicely balanced with the recess seated area in the textured wood. The flooring is a neutral, grey tone large format tile in a matt finish which highlights the warmth of the walnut internal doors.
"The client wanted to maintain the neutral scheme in the furnishings so we have used Italia Living recliner sofas, in a soft grey leather, for maximum comfort introducing accents of colour in the mustard velvet cushions. A stunning Bontempi glass-top table compliments the gloss kitchen with an anthracite base and beautiful light grey leather chairs. This glass table allows the client practicality but doesn’t intrude on the spectacular view. Seating is maximised at the breakfast bar with swivel barstools in dark grey leather."
